The moon, once a symbol of hope, is now shattered and its fragments have left survivors of the catastrophe with a new challenge - Surviving the Aftermath: Shattered Hope. Players must use the Moon's fragments to their advantage and keep their spirits high in order to make it out alive. But all that changed when the moon was shattered, leaving a disheartening void in its place. This tragedy marks the beginning of a new adventure for survivors, who have to bravely face the Moonfall and its devastating consequences in the new expansion to the game, Surviving the Aftermath: Shattered Hope.

Players are tasked with using the fragments of the moon to their advantage and fighting to keep their own hope alive. With the new Building Boost mechanic, players can refine lunar fragments to obtain lunar dust which they can then use to increase the production of their buildings for a limited amount of time. This new feature allows players to maintain their hope and morale, encouraging them to build a better future.

The Moonfall has also left behind a number of resources which can be utilized to help build and maintain the colony. This includes the new colony square building, where players can hold feasts to lift the spirits of the survivors. These disasters can range from extreme weather conditions to alien invasions, and they can cause a decrease in the hope of the survivors. If left untreated, the survivors’ anguish can lead to hostile behavior. Players must be prepared to face these threats with courage and strength in order to ensure their survival.
