About Steam Marines Game

Steam Marines is a Roguelike featuring squad-based tactical positioning aboard a steampunk-inspired spaceship. Players must make use of resources and fight their way through the decks of the besieged ship to reach the elevator on each level. With an ever-changing environment and enemies, Steam Marines encourages quick thinking and strategic play to survive and progress.

The Battle for the Starship Aurora

The Aurora was a steampunk spaceship, one of the finest vessels in the fleet. It had been commissioned to explore the furthest reaches of the galaxy, and its crew was full of brave adventurers, eager to explore the unknown. But what they found was far from peaceful.

The ship had been assaulted by a mysterious alien force, and now it was in turmoil. The crew had been scattered, and the ship was in critical danger. It was up to a handful of brave souls to fight back and reclaim the Aurora, and it was up to you to lead them.

Steam Marines was a squad based roguelike set in a steampunk spaceship. It was a tactical game focused on positioning and resource management, where you commanded a squad of four marines and fought your way through the decks of the besieged ship, clearing enemies and trying to reach the elevator of each level.

The marines were customizable, and could be outfitted with a variety of weapons, armor and exoskeleton suits. You could also upgrade them in rank, unlocking new abilities and gaining access to a talent tree. And of course, death was permanent, so you had to make sure you used your resources wisely and kept your marines safe.

The game also featured procedural generation, with five human ship decks and a sixth alien deck. Each deck was randomly generated, with destructible walls and high/low ground, as well as randomized weapons, armor and enemies. There were also deck bosses that challenged you, but didn't negate the tactics you had learned.

To top it all off, Steam Marines also had four levels of difficulty and a scoring system, so you could be rated on your overall performance. You could even play a New Game Plus, with fresh challenges waiting for you.

So, if you thought you had what it takes to save the Aurora and reclaim it for humanity, then grab your gear and join the fight. It's time to take back the ship and prove your worth as a leader. The fate of the Aurora, and of the galaxy, lies in your hands.
