SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is a turn-based strategy role-playing game set in the fantastical world of Eo. Players take up the mantle of their master and become the heir to his mysterious wizard’s tower, with the goal to become the greatest mage the world has ever seen.

As the heir, players can explore the realm of Eo, win over mighty heroes to go on adventures, find useful artefacts and ingredients, and summon powerful minions. Players can also study a multitude of spells, craft powerful glyphs and artefacts, and train mighty warriors to roam the world.

In order to expand their domain, players must control sources of Allfire, which grants them new spells, craft mighty artefacts, and expand and improve their tower. They will also have to face powerful foes such as other mages, great armies and even greater ambitions of their rivals.

Players can choose from one of three archetypes and six spell lists, all allowing different styles of play. Recruiting individual heroes and apprentices to lead your troops is also possible, while the living interactive grimoire reveals new secrets and spells. Crafting anything from magical glyphs and artefacts to undead minions is also possible.

Players can also explore over 600 adventures, each procedurally generated with a different outcome. As they explore the lands, they will come across New Purity fanatics, hostile granite dwarves, and bloodthirsty orcs, as well as undead, demons, and monsters.

In order to make their mark, players can befriend cities, harvest resources, and expand their domain. They can also tap and unleash the ultimate source of magical power, the Allfire, and improve their tower with upgrades ranging from a necromancer’s crypt to the mystical crystal chamber.

The immense magical sophistication of their tower also allows it to levitate from the ground and travel the lands. This can be used to exploit sources of magical power on Eo, as well as march on competitors’ towers.
