The development of Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengeance of the Slayer dates back to 1998 when it was initially conceptualized by me and my friend during our high school days. Now, at the age of 37, I bring with me a wealth of life experience, which has undoubtedly influenced the game's design and narrative.

Welcome to The Steel Sewer, the largest secret base in the galaxy. As X Slayers, our ultimate mission is to combat the vile Psyko Sindikate, a group of sick and evil individuals who seek to exploit our powers, known as Hackblood, to resurrect malevolent enemies and enslave humanity. Despite the mistreatment we receive from the people of Earth, we remain committed to defending them against this threat, as they are undeserving of the Psyko Sindikate's tyranny.

The X Slayers have dedicated themselves to studying the secrets of Hackblood, a mysterious force that courses through our veins. We patiently await the opportune moment to strike back at the Psyko Sindikate, all while immersing ourselves in the original music created by Seepage & Psyko Syndicate, which adds an extra layer of intensity to our battles.

Equipped with an array of deadly weapons, including the S-Blade, Double Pistols, Glass Blaster, Explosive Sludge Launcher, X100 Rapid Mutilator, Triple Helix Missile Launcher, and the Hackblood Power, we relentlessly hunt down the Psyko Sindikate wherever they may hide. They could be lurking in unexpected places such as my room, the sewer, the playground, the Dollar$aver store, the laundrymat, Professor Pizza, inside a computer, the South Boise July 4th fair, and countless other locations.

As the author of this game, I reminisce about the time when my friend Chase and I first embarked on its creation in 1998. To my surprise, Chase recently rediscovered the game and burned it onto a CD-ROM. Now, we plan to finish what we started and make it available online. While I had to step away from the world of computers to pursue a real job at Dollar$aver, I never forgot my passion for this game. Fortunately, Chase, who pursued a college education in programming, has graciously offered to complete the development process.

I still possess my notebook filled with all the original designs, and I must say, they are still absolutely incredible. Brace yourself for what I believe will be the greatest game in the world, Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengeance of the Slayer.
