Twenty years after the world ended, humanity is divided into opposing factions. Now, you have the chance to either unite them or conquer them: will you be the one to shape the future of the world? Sheltered 2 is the sequel to the original 2015 game that allows you to make that choice.

Sheltered 2 is an upcoming strategy game set in a post-apocalyptic world. It has been twenty years since the world as we knew it was destroyed. The remaining survivors have splintered into rival factions, and the player is tasked with building up their own faction while managing resources and tackling threats.

The game introduces a new Factions system, allowing the player to send out expeditions to explore the wasteland and interact with other camps, either by trading resources to grow and thrive together, or by engaging in combat to gain a foothold in the wasteland. Every decision carries real consequences, as the game features permadeath.

Resource management is a key part of the game, with the player needing to balance the needs and wants of their survivors while managing scarce resources, crafting items and maintaining the shelter’s equipment. To aid the player in their quest, the game features an array of makeshift weaponry for use against hostile outsiders.

The game also features an array of characters with their own personalities, traits, desires and skills, as well as vehicles to explore the wasteland with. The player can customize their characters to their liking, and make their faction members unique and individual.
