Shardlight is an adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world where a young woman must search for a cure to a deadly plague. Players will explore a hostile world while uncovering the secrets of this dangerous environment, brought to you by the same publisher behind popular titles such as Primordia, Gemini Rue, and Technobabylon.

The world ended abruptly on the fateful day when the bombs were dropped, leaving a scorched and desolate land in its wake. Everyone was affected by the events of that day, but those that were most affected were the poor, who were left to suffer in fear, superstition and squalor, desperately trying to survive in a world where resources were scarce and resources were controlled by a powerful and faceless oligarchy known as the Aristocrats.

Amy Wellard was also affected by the events of that day, but she was determined to make a difference. She was a young woman working for the government in order to qualify for the vaccine lottery, and she was determined to find a cure to the deadly plague that had spread throughout the land. She was willing to risk her own life to do so.

In the world of Shardlight, players take on the role of Amy Wellard in her quest to find a cure. The game is a post-apocalyptic adventure game developed by Wadjet Eye Games, a publisher that has also brought us Primordia, Gemini Rue and Technobabylon. Players will find themselves immersed in a hostile world, where they must explore, solve puzzles and make difficult decisions in order to progress.
