RitualSummon is a new 2D side-scrolling action game that promises to take players on an exciting adventure. Set in the world of Midra, where two opposing faiths – The Pure White Holy Church and The Cult of Flesh and Lust – are in constant competition, players take on the role of a girl named Pella who has been summoned to the continent as a saint. However, Pella is not interested in the work of the Holy Maiden, which is high-risk and low-reward, and just wants to find a way back to her original world.

The Pure White Holy Church and The Cult of Flesh and Lust each summon their own holy or devil maiden from other worlds through a summoning ceremony that occurs once every hundred years. In the last century, the Pure White Holy Church successfully summoned the holy maiden, giving them dominance over the world for the next century. However, The Cult of Flesh and Lust did not disappear but instead lurks in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike.

As the turn of another hundred years approaches, Pella is summoned to Midra as a saint. She has no interest in being a Holy Maiden and just wants to go back to her original world. However, the priests of The Pure White Holy Church become suspicious of her, and Pella is forced to accept a dangerous mission to crusade against The Cult of Flesh and Lust. She must prove herself in battle while trying to escape the church's control.

As players progress through the game, they will fight using two weapons – a longsword or a large sword – and magic. They can also sacrifice collected offerings to the goddess statue of the Grand Temple to receive blessings that enhance their abilities. Additionally, the game features a controller with the A/D or ←→ keys used for movement, space for jumping, S or ↓ for crouching, Shift for dashing, Q for healing, and ESC for accessing the menu.
