In Raid On Taihoku, players take control of characters in a WW2 Taiwan setting as they traverse through dangerous and safe zones, learning about the harsh realities of war and the power of human nature.

Raid on Taihoku is a narrative adventure game set in the tumultuous backdrop of WWII Taiwan. Players take on the role of a mysterious young girl, Sayako, and her faithful companion, Blacky, a Taiwanese dog, as they try to survive the American air raids. As they explore the ruins of their beleaguered city, they must rely on both their wits and each other to unravel the mysteries of Sayako’s past.

Players will have to use a combination of stealth and puzzle solving to make their way across the city, navigating the dangers of the war-torn cityscape. In the safe zones of the city, players can explore freely and search for hidden items which will help them in their quest. As they progress, they will also come across danger zones in which they must cooperate with other characters to survive the air raids.

The game is set in the context of the Japanese occupation of Taiwan, with the player being able to experience the cruelty and hardship of war from the perspective of an Axis Power’s colony. Raid on Taihoku is the first video game to depict the events of WWII in Taiwan, and will feature an array of historical facts and a wide range of collectible items.

The score for the game is composed by famous musician, Wei-fan Chang, in order to create an immersive experience. The game also features multiple language support, including Mandarin, English, and Japanese.
