Players can design their own hospitals from scratch, or they can choose from a variety of predefined models and jump straight into the doctor’s duty. As players progress, they can contract different insurance companies to gain access to patients with interesting medical conditions, perform examinations and laboratory tests, and use various pieces of equipment to solve diagnostic puzzles.

Players can also hospitalize their patients, perform surgery, and use objects, materials, and colors to customize their hospitals and make them truly their own. Not only that, but players can also hire and specialize their staff, from doctors to janitors, ensuring that everyone is doing their best and finding satisfaction in their work.

Project Hospital also has a variety of game modes to accommodate different playstyles. Tutorial levels will guide players through the basics of treating patients and running hospitals.
