About PERISH Game

Perish is a 1-4 player FPS set in Purgatory, where players must fight off hordes of creatures to turn a profit by selling their gold-stained corpses to priests. Money earned can then be used to gain entrance to Elysium, a place of cosmic revelations, by taking down powerful bosses.

Welcome to the world of Perish, a stylish 1-4 player FPS that is sure to put you in a state of cross-bearing. Step into the scorched sands of Purgatory and prepare to face off against hordes of creatures that stand in your way of reaching Elysium, a place of cosmic revelations.

You will take on the role of Amyetri, a corporeal spirit condemned to a shadow life in the halfway realm of Purgatory. In order to end your suffering, you must initiate the Rites of Orpheus and defeat the chthonic deities that dominate your path to Elysium.

You will begin your journey with nothing but a broken sword, and you will have to rely on the blood-soaked currency of the underworld, danake, to afford you better equipment. However, you must be careful not to succumb to your enemies, as falling will mean losing your hard-earned danake. You can deposit your danake in the Pantheon before you die, or you can risk it all for a chance to reach Elysium.

To make your journey easier, you can join forces up to three friends and take on the underworld together. The co-op mode offers unique gear and gadgets to support, defend, and revive each other. As you traverse through the scorched cliffs of Theseus, the dilapidated temples of Orpheus, and the volcanic foundries of Hephaestus, you will be confronted with crumbling labyrinths, molten lakes of pure gold, and shattered mountains caught in Charybdian whirlpools.

The priestesses hold a formidable stockpile of weapons, and you will be able to use your danake to purchase powerful crowns and rings that grant the wearer significant advantages on the battlefield. You can choose from a plethora of both ranged and melee weapons, and imbue your chosen armament with a host of exciting augmentations.

You will have to face off against revenant creatures that are consumed by the same hunger for gold danake that motivates your own quest. The enemies in Perish are unforgiving, and as you travel further through Purgatory, you will meet a slew of enemies inspired by Ancient Greek, Roman, and Christian mythologies.

The post-launch support for Perish includes updates to the game universe with strange new enemies and even crazier weapons to play with. Developed by ITEM42 and published by HandyGames, Perish is an action and indie game that is sure to offer a Herculean journey of fun and adventure.
