Northgard: Cross of Vidar is an expansion pack for Northgard, introducing a new faction and its associated clan, The Kingdom of Neustria. The expansion pack also includes a second campaign story, taking place in the Southern Kingdoms.

The Kingdom of Neustria is the focus of Northgard’s new expansion pack, Cross of Vidar. The expansion introduces a new campaign story taking place in the Southern Kingdoms, as well as a new faction and war chief, Hildegarde.

The Cross of Vidar campaign follows the story of Rig, Liv and Svarn, who were separated and left with no other choice but to abandon their land. Together with the other leaders of the Southern Kingdoms, they embark on a quest to find the three swords forged by the Norns, which form the Cross of Vidar, an artifact said to contain the power to end Ragnarök.

The Kingdom of Neustria has a strong military and religious focus. Hildegarde’s vision is to unify and reconcile the Kingdom in order to assemble the Cross of Vidar and put an end to the devastating apocalypse in the North. The campaign is split into two acts and is estimated to last around 4-5 hours.

The Northgard: Cross of Vidar expansion pack brings new gameplay elements and replayability to the game. Players will get direct access to the campaign’s Epilogue as soon as it is released. Developed by Shiro Games and published by Shiro Unlimited, the expansion will be available for PC, Mac, Linux and Nintendo Switch players.
