The gameplay of Nomad Survival revolves around time-based auto-attacking. As players progress through each run, they will have the opportunity to upgrade their stats, allowing them to become increasingly powerful. Waves of enemies will continuously attack from all angles, and players must strategically use their character's abilities to fend them off. With each passing minute, the types of enemies and their behaviors will change in a predictable fashion, adding an element of anticipation and strategy to the gameplay.

One of the unique features of Nomad Survival is the ability to acquire and use multiple abilities. Players can have as many abilities as they want, and each non-passive ability grants bonus effects at levels 5 and 10. Each character in Nomad Survival has a distinct play style thanks to their Weapon Skills.
