Noita is a roguelite game set in a world of magical action, where every pixel is simulated with physics. Players can explore, fight, and use spells they craft to manipulate the environment, melting, burning, freezing, and evaporating their way through the procedurally generated world.

Noita is an action roguelite set in a world where every pixel is simulated and alive. Take on the role of a magical being and explore a procedurally generated world where you can use your own spells to fight, explore, melt, burn, freeze and evaporate your way to success. The game is developed by Nolla Games, a company set up by three indie developers, Petri Purho, Olli Harjola and Arvi Teikari.

Petri Purho is best known for creating the hit puzzle game Crayon Physics Deluxe but has also made a variety of tiny freeware games. His board game designs are relatively unknown. Olli Harjola is best known for the award-winning puzzler The Swapper and has also created music, live visuals and programming languages. Arvi Teikari, also known as Hempuli, has released a variety of experimental games, including the popular Baba Is You.

In Noita, every pixel is simulated and you can use your own spells to manipulate the environment. You can burn, explode or melt anything in your path and swim in the blood of your foes. Each world is procedurally generated, meaning that no playthrough is the same. You can explore new environments as you delve deeper in search for unknown mysteries.

Death is permanent in Noita, meaning that you must use what you’ve learned from each death to get further on your next attempt. The game also features a variety of environments, ranging from coal mines to freezing wastelands. You can also combine spells to create your own magic as you explore the caverns.
