About Nix Umbra Game

I wield light as my sword, and use it to vanquish the darkness. There shall be no hope for the shadows, as I will be their undoing. My power to create and sustain light is my greatest asset, and I will use it to defeat all that seeks to harm.

Nix Umbra is a first-person horror ritual game set in an enchanted forest. Players will have to navigate their way through the darkness and collect solar crystals in order to unlock new spectral colors. As they explore, they will come across various enemies, power-ups and occult game mechanics as they try to make it out alive.

The aesthetic of the game is an alluring monochrome, featuring a unique combination of light and dark elements. Players will be able to enjoy a slow-burning horror experience with no scripted jump scares and a randomized wood and terror design for maximum replayability.

Players will be able to use the Mighty Shining Sword to battle their way through the darkness, with the goal of reaching the astral realm. They will also come across eleven magical power-ups, such as shape-altering mushrooms and frogs, as well as a fairy. These power-ups will be essential in helping players reach their goal.

Players will also come across eight enemy types, including fire ghosts, inverse kinematic spiders and flying witches. They will also have to battle their way through out-of-body experiences, ponder orbs and rose gazing gameplay. God won't be of any help here, so players will have to rely on their own skills to survive.

The game also features a global leaderboard, so players can see how they measure up against their peers. If they are successful they will be able to reach the astral realm and find enlightenment. However, the game also features permadeath, so if they fail they will have to start over.
