In the summer of 2011, a group of peacekeeping forces embarked on a mission to investigate reports of unlawful weapons trafficking. Little did they know that this mission would lead them to an unexpected encounter with a carnivorous species in a small village located in Northern Africa. These creatures, classified as unclassified and known for their aggressive nature, proved to be resistant to conventional forms of attack.

The peacekeeping forces soon found themselves faced with a daunting challenge as they realized that these rabid creatures were not easily subdued. Despite their best efforts, only four out of the eight encountered specimens were successfully contained for further study. The unfortunate victims of the creatures' attacks were quarantined at a nearby research facility, where alarming symptoms began to manifest.

The victims displayed signs of internal liquefaction and accelerated necrosis, similar to the effects of other flesh-eating viruses indigenous to the region. However, it soon became apparent that this was not a viral outbreak but rather a parasitic infestation. A previously unidentified species of hookworm was discovered beneath the skin of the captured creatures, leading to the realization that these parasites, referred to as "Alpha-worms", were responsible for the host's transformation.

The Alpha-worms laid multiple eggs inside their hosts, which in turn produced numerous larvae. These larvae, upon entering the bloodstream, triggered genetic failures that resulted in the victims undergoing drastic physical and psychological changes. Contrary to expectations, these changes did not prove fatal to the infested victims. Instead, they became larger, stronger, and driven by an insatiable hunger.

Drawing from the research conducted on the Ground: ALPHA specimens, a specialized team was formed to combat the ongoing outbreaks. This elite squad possessed unique abilities and skills necessary to combat the infestation. Over the next few years, minor outbreaks occurred, but the squad swiftly intervened to suppress them. However, their skills would soon be put to the ultimate test in the city of Tokyo.

Ninja Blade, a thrilling action game, takes players on a journey through intense and challenging battles. Armed with three different weapons, players must engage in combat against the Alpha-worm-infested creatures.
