MADNESS: Project Nexus is an action-packed third-person run n' gun and beat 'em up game. It features a story campaign with hordes of enemies and an arena mode where players can create their own killing machine. Players will enjoy button-mashing brutality and arcade-style action as they battle their way to the top.

MADNESS: Project Nexus is an explosive third-person Run n' Gun / Beat'Em Up that will test your nerves and challenge your wits. This intense, arcade-style action game will have you mashing buttons in a bloody battle against waves of enemies. Take on the role of an antihero and infiltrate heavily guarded installations, fight cultists and cannibal bandits, and dodge the grasp of armored Mag Agents three times your size. Play solo or with up to three other players in the Story Campaign, or build your own perfect killing machine in the neverending onslaught of Arena Mode.

The Story Campaign will have you gunning your way through droves of bad guys, with a playtime of eight hours or more. You'll be able to play solo or with local co-op, and with Xbox-compatible controllers. The Arena Combat mode will equip you with the perfect killing machine, as you progress through specialized skill tiers and build your own custom weapons and technology. You'll be able to take on wave after wave of never-ending bad guys in a range of different combat environments, such as game shows, haunted houses, and high speed trains.

If you ever want to take a break from the action-packed Story Campaign and Arena Combat, you can play god in the Playground. Here, you can pit squads of baddies against one another and toss them any weapons of your choosing, or even jump into the fight yourself. This secure combat environment will give you a chance to let off some steam and have some fun.

MADNESS: Project Nexus is the brainchild of Matt Jolly and Michael Swain, two smalltime game developers who have spent seven years to bring this project to life. It was inspired by their love for the side-scrolling button mashers they grew up with and others can share the same experience. With MADNESS: Project Nexus, you can expect a day filled with intense action and button-mashing brutality.

You will be able to immerse yourself in several different environments and locations, as you take on hordes of enemies. Whether you are infiltrating heavily guarded installations, fighting cultists and cannibals, or dodging the grasp of armored Mag Agents, you can be sure to expect a thrilling and intense experience.
