In Last Wood, you will take control of a group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world. You will have to help them build rafts to survive, defend against threats, explore the unknown, and find the truth of what happened. You will also be responsible for their offsprings as you venture through the ocean and discover what remains of the world.

In the post-apocalyptic world of Last Wood, you will be responsible for guiding a number of survivors across the ocean, fighting off threats, exploring the unknown and even finding out the truth of the world. In this oceanic survival colony simulation game, you will have to build rafts and construct handworks to meet the needs of food, water, and shelter. You will have to manage the survivors, help them develop their skills and even form relationships with one another.

You will also have to fight off enemies such as animals, raiders and deep ones with traps, equipment and strategy. You will need to use paddle, sail, and rudder to travel around, scavenging generated islands for resources and lost technology. Exploring ruins of the old world or mysterious shrines of other species may also be necessary to uncover the truth of the apocalypse.

In order to survive, you must also overcome disasters such as storms and hailstone by properly stocking up your storage with supplies. Random events may also occur during your journey, such as adrift survivors joining your colony, Voladors becoming a meal and even catching a treasure chest while fishing.
