In the Hit the Deck! Game, you play as zombie-fighting, monster-bashing heroes fighting your way through the monster-zombie apocalypse. With no homework, no parents, and no rules, you'll have to use your wits and strategy to survive. Outwit your opponents in this fast-paced, rogue-like card game and be the last kid on earth!

The world is in chaos; a zombie and monster apocalypse has taken over the town of Wakefield and possibly the rest of the world. Jack Sullivan, a post-apocalyptic action hero and foster kid, and his friends June, Quint, and Dirk are the Last Kids on Earth. Together, they live in the Tree Fortress of Awesomeness and have to fight for survival in the Monster-Zombie Apocalypse.

Last Kids on Earth: Hit the Deck! is an action-packed rogue-like strategy card game based on the award-winning young-adult novel (and Netflix) series Last Kids on Earth by Max Brallier. Players can tag-team two characters in combat with enemies, using teamwork-based battle-card strategies. There are over 30 quests that follow the narrative of the book series or give players new survival experiences in the town of Wakefield.

The game features a variety of cards, including over 60 unique cards per character, quest-based cards, gear-based cards, and location-based cards. Players can build their perfect battle-deck for each character while gaining additional cards based on their quests and battles. Character cards build on each character’s special abilities, and players can also find more than 50 pieces of gear, like Rover and the Scream Machine, which provide different cards for their quests when they “gear up”. Consumables like “Atomic Cola” and “Sulfuric Stink Bombs” can boost the monster-fighting awesomeness.

There’s also a crafting Table where players can refill consumables, upgrade gear and even create their own custom cards. Last Kids on Earth: Hit the Deck! also provides a rich narrative that follows the first book in the Last Kids on Earth series.

Players will play as Jack Sullivan, a self-proclaimed “zombie-fighting, monster-slaying tough guy survivor” who is daring, fearless and a little dorky, especially around June. Jack is particularly strong in teamwork and fighting harder when his health is down. June Del Toro is an expert at kicking zombie butt, slaying evil monsters and having fun while doing it. She is adept at seeing zombie and monster intentions and evading attacks.

Quint Baker is a super-rad scientist kid whose inventions form his armory of gear. He is exceptional at using buffs and debuffs, and can choose his gear on the fly. Lastly, Dirk Savage is a former bully turned super-strong monster-battling tornado. Dirk can shield anyone in combat and has very strong attack skills.
