About Land of the Vikings Game

In Land of the Vikings, players take on the role of a Jarl, leading their Viking village to prosperity. They must manage resources, survive harsh conditions and social conflict, and ensure their fellow Vikings work together in order to expand their village into a thriving city.

Lead your Viking clan in the Land of the Vikings and bring it to greatness! As a wise Jarl, you must use your resources, survive harsh conditions, and guide your people through social conflicts. To ensure your village’s prosperity, chop trees, plant and grow crops, hunt wildlife, mine ore, and fish from the surrounding fjords.

Your villagers each have their own personalities, with 20+ characteristics that will determine their success in different tasks. As your settlement grows, you can choose to welcome more settlers or turn them away. Over time, your Vikings will form new families and birth new generations, strengthening your village.

The land brings many challenges, from earthquakes to storms and blizzards. Band together and withstand these disasters as best you can. Your neighbors can also be a great source of goods and gold, so build a Trade Dock and send out your own trade missions. You can also raid foreign villages to gain Fame points.

As you expand, you can customize the look of your village and Viking ships. Unlock new buildings and bonuses by spending Fame points in the Tree of Life. Invest in goat farming to collect wool and weave fabric for better clothes. With better living and resources, your Vikings will become healthier and happier and your settlement will thrive!
