Intravenous is a stealth-action game that places an emphasis on tactical gunplay. Players will sneak through dark corridors, shoot out lights, flip circuit breakers and lockpick doors to traverse the levels. They can also distract guards by throwing bottles, imitating their wives and using other tactics to remain unseen.

When things inevitably go south, players will be able to battle their enemies in intense gunfights. With multiple weapons to choose from, each with their own unique handling, players will be able to find the best fit for their playstyle. Enemies will take cover during gunfights, use flashlights in darkness, and radio in suspicious activity, providing a real challenge.

If players choose to go in guns-blazing, they can select a loadout of a rifle, a pistol, and a bulletproof vest - or just a pistol and nothing else - to be agile and ready for improvisation.
