The green power gauge depletes only when normal shots are used. If the power gauge runs out, players go down a level. To stay at the maximum level, players must replenish the power gauge by collecting more orbs.

Scoring in Heli-Cats is straightforward yet offers different approaches depending on players' desired gameplay style. For those aiming for high survivability, it is recommended to power up often, keep away from enemies, use the focus shot regularly, and make use of bombs.
