Firewatch is an immersive single-player first-person game set in the wilds of Wyoming. As you explore the vast landscape of forests, lakes, and mountains, you'll be accompanied by a distant voice on the other end of a handheld radio, your only emotional anchor as you uncover the mysteries of the wilderness.

Firewatch is an unforgettable single-player first-person mystery game set in the beautiful Wyoming wilderness. You assume the role of Henry, a man who has abandoned his messy life to become a fire lookout in the wilderness. It’s your responsibility to be on the lookout for smoke and to keep the wilderness safe, especially during the hot and dry summer months. You communicate with your supervisor Delilah over a handheld radio - your only contact with the outside world.

As you explore the unknown environment, strange events start to draw you out of the lookout tower and into the forest. Your choices and decisions will shape the narrative, build relationships, and unravel the mystery. Firewatch features living and breathing characters brought to life by Cissy Jones and Rich Sommer, and a spectacular wilderness environment created by Olly Moss and Jane Ng. The story and script was crafted by Sean Vanaman and Jake Rodkin, with a stirring original soundtrack by Chris Remo.

The game has a fluid first-person animation designed by James Benson and gameplay scripting and design work by Patrick Ewing and Nels Anderson. Will Armstrong, Ben Burbank, and Paolo Surricchio wrote the programming for the game.
