In Farthest Frontier, you take on the role of a leader, guiding your people as they build a town deep in the wilderness. You must manage resources and craft items to trade and equip your people, while protecting them from the dangers of the unknown world. You must survive the elements, hunt, fish and farm to ensure your town has enough food, and fight off outside threats in order to survive.

Farthest Frontier is a unique survival simulation game set in the untamed wilderness at the edge of the known world. Players take the role of a leader of a small group of settlers and must guide them to build a thriving town. Players will harvest raw materials, hunt, fish and farm to sustain their growing town. Crafted items can be produced to trade, consume, equip and fight with, as players battle against the elements and outside threats.

Farthest Frontier offers a detailed farming system, with 10 crops having unique growing characteristics and the ability to adjust soil mixture and fertility to maximize crop production. Players can construct over 50 different buildings, as their town advances through multiple tiers as it grows. Players can also customize their difficulty settings, turning off features like invaders and disease for a more peaceful experience, or maxing out difficulty for a challenging experience.

Environmental interaction is a key feature of Farthest Frontier, with players having to develop their economy based on local resources and erect fencing to protect crops from wild animals. Additionally, players must manage diseases and prevent outbreaks of dysentery and cholera. Invaders can also be a threat, and players must build defenses and recruit soldiers to protect their town.

Farthest Frontier is highly replayable, with completely randomized terrain generation and resource distribution, allowing players to create unique challenges.
