Falsepine is an action-packed roguelike set in the untamed West. Players take on the role of a Hunter, tasked with tracking down and defeating five legendary creatures. Armed with an array of weapons and tools, players must use all their wits and skill to combat these dangerous foes and come out victorious.

Falsepine offers a variety of playstyles to suit all types of hunters. Players can choose from 35 different weapons and tools, equipping them with a variety of Talismans and Artifacts to create different builds for every new adventure. Before heading out on a hunt, players can prepare for the journey ahead in the town of Falsepine, purchasing weapons and equipment, buying drinks and clues at the Crossroads Saloon, and storing valuable items at Falsepine Bank.

Players can also take on a variety of bounty missions, each affecting how they will approach an expedition. Successful hunters will be rewarded with unique and powerful Legendary weapons, ranging from rapid-fire crossbows to double-action hand cannons. As they explore the wild west, players will come across a variety of unique locales from the snowy Grizzly Peaks to the dusty Arid Badlands. Along the way, they’ll find clues and journals detailing the rich history of each monster.

Falsepine also features a rogue-like element, where each playthrough is randomly generated. This ensures that no two playthroughs are ever the same and encourages players to adapt their strategies to survive the journey.
