Facteroids is a 3D factory building game that takes players on a journey through space to mine asteroids and manage production lines in procedurally generated worlds across the Solar system. Players must prospect, mine and strategically manage their production lines in a variety of scenarios to become the most successful asteroid miner in the galaxy.

Facteroids is a 3D space factory building game that takes players to the depths of the Solar system. Set in a procedurally generated universe, players explore and prospect asteroids, planets and more as they build their own mining empire. With a fully destructible 3D environment, players can remove and deploy asteroid mass as needed as they manage resources and energy for their factories.

In Facteroids, players must take care of their colonists by building a base and infrastructure to support their needs. Machines must be supplied with resources and power through the building of conveyor belts, pipes and power lines. If necessary, players can trade for any missing resources and unlock new technologies through research.

Facteroids offers a range of campaign scenarios and procedurally generated worlds for players to explore and build their factories. Players can also create their own content through the game’s mission editor.

Players begin their journey in Facteroids by landing their spacecraft on a barren piece of rock. They then deploy automated bots to begin building their mining empire. As they progress, players design production lines for their factories, managing resources and energy as they build and manage their colonies.

Throughout the game, players can take advantage of a fully destructible 3D environment. Each asteroid body is a 3D object and can be modified as needed. If a mine becomes depleted, it leaves a hole in the ground. Players can also modify asteroid mass for their own purposes.

In addition to managing their colonies, players can trade for missing resources and research new technologies. They can also build a base and infrastructure to support colonists, as well as supply their machines with resources and power through the building of conveyor belts, pipes and power lines.
