Evertried is a game in which every move matters; every action the player takes triggers enemy units to move, allowing the player to take their time and strategize their decisions or rush through the game quickly.

Evertried is a fast-paced adventure game that requires strategic planning to succeed. In it, the player’s decisions dictate when enemy units move, creating a unique and dynamic turn-based action combat system. The game requires players to think ahead, planning intricate strategies to outwit their opponents and ascend to the top of The Tower.

The Tower is a mysterious structure that is home to lost souls unable to be assigned to either eternal penitence or the afterlife. Each of its 50 floors is unique, introducing new enemies and tests of skill. Progressing through The Tower requires the player to move, attack, and use their dash, skills, and luring enemies into hazards. Doing all of this successfully increases the player’s Focus Level and unlocks special powers called Modifiers.

The game also features a Shop Floor in each area where players can spend shards, acquired through successful enemy engagements, to purchase health recovery, Skills, and Modifiers. Skills can be levelled up and will carry over into successive runs, while Modifiers become more powerful based on theplayer’s Focus Level. At the end of each area lies a Floor Guardian, a powerful boss battle that tests the player’s strategic might. If a player loses all their health, they will lose the powers they have acquired and reappear at the First Floor to start again.

Evertried is a challenging and rewarding game that requires strategic planning and quick thinking to ascend The Tower and uncover the mystery of the player’s past.
