Hamir is a former Wall Runner from the Rock Wall, looking for a new purpose. Slade is a pirate from the Polekai Islands, looking for the mysterious rare mineral unique to Julesvale. Lastly, Artemis is an experienced general from the Fire Mora, sent to Julesvale on a secret mission.
