Dominions 5 - Warriors of the Faith is a deep 4x turn based strategy game with a variety of spells and units. You take control of a powerful being, a Pretender God, that rules a nation and aspires to godhood. Your dominion gives your followers and sacred soldierspowers and you can customize your god's bless effects. You must defeat and destroy your enemies in one of three ways in order to ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator.

Dominions is set in a fantasy world that takes inspiration from a variety of sources, drawing from historical nations, cultures and myths, such as Norse mythology, Aztecs, Romans, Israelites, Greeks and even Lovecraftian horrors. You will find no elves or dwarves here, instead you will find a unique and diverse landscape of creatures and characters.

Battles in Dominions have been improved and now feature simultaneous movement for all participating units, making large battles quicker than before. Fireballs and arrows will now fly at the same time as everyone is moving.

The first Dominions game was released in 2002 to critical acclaim and the series remains actively played, making it one of the longest running 4x turn based strategy games.
