The game features a sprawling three story table packed with mini-bosses, baddies, ramps, and mechanical traps. Players can unlock the gothic secrets of the table and progress through the game as they battle their way through the occult pinball action.

A unique magic system allows players to convert waves of enemy bullets into homing magic that fights for them. They can also transmute the bullets into gold for a banked Ultra Jackpot. The Chain Meter allows players to combo hits and keep their scoring momentum up, and linking ramps can extend the life of the Chain Meter. Multipliers can soar up to 99x and Global multipliers are available to rocket score into the billions.

Bonus Rituals can be completed for huge bonuses and jackpots. Players can also unlock Wizard Mode by completing all of the Dark Rituals. There are True full table multiball and add-a-ball modes for extra excitement. Players can also face off against the Shub Calamari, a cosmic god, and the Sacrificed Goat, an aggressive demon with eyestalks as its weak point. There are also Insane Homunculi put together in a blasphemous experiment gone wrong, so players must watch out for the bile.
