Death Trash is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game set in a world where cosmic horrors seek out humanity, but find themselves confronted by determined punks armed with shotguns. Players can create their own character and venture into a handcrafted world to battle against the horrors while taking advantage of old-school RPG mechanics and modern action elements that offer them a great degree of freedom.

Death Trash is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game with a unique blend of modern action gameplay and player freedom. Set in a world where cosmic horrors have taken over and punks with shotguns have become the last hope of humanity, Death Trash combines the best of classic RPG with the controls and game feel of modern games.

The game features manual save games, real-time combat with both ranged and melee weapons, stealth, multiple choice dialogue, an inventory of items and worms, a crafting system, and special skills. Players can create their own character and customize it with stats and in-game decisions. They can then explore the handcrafted, organic locations of the post-apocalyptic wasteland, meet interesting characters, and even become friends with the monsters.

The game also contains a local co-op mode with a second player that can drop in and out at any time. The second player will have their own character, stats and inventory, but a shared quest progress. The two players are restricted to the same location and will travel on the world map together. Both players can perform actions separately and won't interrupt each other. The game has a shared screen mode (default) and a permanent split screen mode.
