Dark Prospect is an asymmetrical multiplayer game where one player takes on the role of a first-person shooter (FPS) who must survive by gathering resources, building defenses, and fighting against a player or AI in an RTS role who summons, commands, upgrades monsters, and casts spells.

Dark Prospect is an intense, asymmetrical multiplayer game that pits players against each other in an all-out battle for survival. Players on the FPS side must gather resources, build defenses, and fight against an enemy that controls monsters from an RTS perspective. The player or AI controlling the monsters is known as the Overlord and it is up to the brave soldiers to protect the only weapon that can close the portals and save humanity - the Plasma Cannon.

On the FPS side, players must gather resources to build a base, craft weapons and gadgets to survive attacks and ultimately, destroy the RTS portals. The army of monsters summoned by the Overlord can be made even more powerful by casting spells and upgrading their abilities with souls collected from the human world.

On the RTS side, the Overlord must command their army of monsters, assemble squads, cast spells and destroy the soldiers base. The Overlord's creatures all have special abilities that they can use to their advantage.

Dark Prospect features five different maps with unique settings, and can be played with up to 32 players. Players can join or host games either solo or in a team, and can adjust a wide range of settings for their FPS or RTS experience. The game also features ingame communication including voice chat, quick chat and chat.
