BOSSGARD is a 1v2, 1v3, up to 1v5 bossfight multiplayer game where you get to be the boss! The game pits a single, player-controlled Boss against a team of Vikings, each with their own special abilities. It's up to you to crush your friends and prove that you're the boss!

Who’s The Boss? That’s right, it’s finally you! BOSSGARD is a fast-paced asymmetrical multiplayer game that pits one big, bad, player-controlled Boss against up to five Vikings, each with special abilities. So grab your friends and get ready for the craziest bossfights you’ll ever experience!

Choose from a variety of unique bosses that are yours to command. Strike fear in your enemies as a mighty fortress or keep them on edge as an angry slice of bread, it all depends on how bossy you feel today! Or, if you’re more of a team player, join a party of Vikings and take on the nastiest titans you’ve ever seen. Heal, protect, buff, release minions and lay down turrets when necessary!

BOSSGARD supports up to six players, both online and locally. So, no matter how many players you have, there’s always room for more. Couch Versus Couch support allows you and your friends to play locally against or with online players. There’s even bot support for when you don’t have any friends!

Each Boss looks, plays and feels completely different. Minions, traps and special powers are just some of the weapons you can use against the Vikings. However, team composition is key. The Vikings’ abilities are designed to work together, so make sure you heal, protect, buff and release minions when necessary.

The Vikings hail from all around the world, with Canadian, Jamaican, British and Japanese Vikings just some of the warriors building up an already bright and colorful roster. With Keyboard & Mouse or Gamepad controls, you can play in any way you want.

Travel to colorful, foreign lands and make a beautiful mess. Sharks, streams of hot coffee and alien plasma cannons will stand between the Vikings and the Boss. Each arena comes with its own theme, soundtrack and Boss-controlled trap!

What’s more, streaming is made easy with built-in stream-specific mechanics that allow followers to join the battle, dealing damage, aiding or even dropping in minions to fight for whomever the audience dictates.

The world of BOSSGARD is bright, varied and alive! We worked extra hard to deliver a colorful and polished experience. With no paid DLC, no microtransactions and no lootboxes, you can trust that this project will keep growing without hiding new content behind paywalls.
