Avorion is a procedural co-op space sandbox game where players can build their own custom ships made out of dynamically scalable blocks. Explore the galaxy, mine for resources, trade, fight epic space battles, wage wars, and build your own unique empire in order to save your galaxy from an unknown enemy.

Hundreds of years ago, a cataclysmic event occurred that nearly ripped the galaxy apart. A ring of torn hyperspace fabric appeared in the center, making it impossible to travel beyond it. Aliens known as Xsotan have since emerged from the fabric, using a mysterious metal called Avorion to build their ships.

Start at the edge of the galaxy and work your way to its core, encountering more danger and reward the closer you get. Join forces with friends in co-op multiplayer to build stations and take on pirates and enemy factions. Equip your ship with powerful weapons and watch as it breaks apart in space battles. Collect loot from defeated foes, upgrade your ship and build hangars and squads of fighters.

Fly through nebulas and dense asteroid fields to uncover hidden treasures, and meet the various factions that control the galaxy. Each faction has its own characteristics and their ships and stations are distinct in design. Find valuable goods in old ship wrecks, or undiscovered asteroid fields. Grow your empire by establishing asteroid mines and factories that will attract NPC traders. Install trading systems to detect trading routes and build your own fleet of specialized transport ships.

Avorion features creative mode so you can build to your heart’s content. Focus on building a great-looking ship without worrying about its performance. Adjust your ship to its purpose: from light and agile explorers to heavily armored battleships with strong shields. There is no limit to the size or complexity of your ship except your resources.

Choose your personal playstyle. Haul cargo, find profitable trading routes and found factories. Or become the aggressor, raiding freighters, smuggling illegal goods, and scavenging old wreckages. Find your way to the center of the galaxy and build your own empire.
