Anodyne 2: Return to Dust is a unique adventure game with a mix of 3D and 2D elements. Players take on the role of Nova, a Nano Cleaner tasked with saving the world from a dangerous plague known as Nano Dust. It has infected an isolated island called New Theland, distorting the emotions and desires of its inhabitants. To save the islanders, Nova must explore the island and shrink into the minds of the infected to vacuum up the Nano Dust.

The game features stunning 3D landscapes, environments and characters, as well as tight 2D Zelda-like dungeons. The art style of the game is a mix of PS1, N64, GBA and SNES, making it a visual treat. On their journey, players will meet strange characters and make difficult moral choices, as they progress through the story of Nova.

Players can jump, drive and walk across the world, and can even transform into a car. Magical cards can be found throughout the game which allows players to access the outer reaches of New Theland. The music in the game is composed by Melos Han-Tani, with over 50 new songs inspired by a wide range of genres. Anodyne 2: Return to Dust is a must-play for any fan of adventure games.
